1934 Beechcraft Staggerwing B17L N14409 sn 21

S/N 21 was probably the last to have fabric forward of the door to the firewall and on the tail cone, NC 14409 was delivered Beech to customer Capt. Frank Hawks in December 1934. Racing pilot Hawks did extensive cross country flying in it from 1936 - 1938.
John Collins of Newark, CA restored this aircraft. Unfortunately John passed away, Oct 11, 1998, just after it was completed. The aircraft was donated to the Staggerwing Museum Foundation Feb 23, 1999.
